Turns out we’re taking a short break from oils to focus on arms and hands, but we’ll be back to oils the week after the next.  I still have things in oils that I need to do though…so it isn’t really a true break from them.  -sigh-

Homework and classwork for Figure Anatomy today.

Figure Drawing today.  Also, my fleece lined leggings came in the mail.  They aren’t as nice as I’d hoped, but still pretty good and they will sure help in staying warm during Typography class every week.  Still waiting on my new ID case and textbook, and my refrigerator still hasn’t been repaired.

Today’s sketches.  We’re moving on to the head now, which is good because man is that an area I need to improve in.  Next week we’ll be working with charcoal.

One of the best things about being in Roberto’s class (besides the gorgeous diagrams he draws for us each class) is that apparently back in college, he and a mate of his took the time to translate all the anatomical bits out of latin and such and shares some of them with us.

I tried using a marker for shading in part of it, but gave up and went back to pencil. -shrugs-
